About Filo Institute
Mission
At Filo Institute, I help young Dentists and Dental students thrive in the clinic and in life. Dentistry isn’t just about perfecting your clinical skills; it’s about protecting your mental health, building confidence, and finding balance in this highly competitive profession.
I get it! The early years can be overwhelming. Solo practice, career uncertainty, and the emotional load of patient care are real. That’s why I provide personalised coaching, practical courses, and evidence-based strategies to help you tackle anxiety, self-doubt, procrastination, imposter syndrome, and other challenges.
Join our community, The Getting Hired in Dentistry (GHD), and connect with peers, share experiences, and see that you’re not alone. The fact that you’re seeking support is already a huge first step.

About me...
Dr Eszter Filo
Dentist, Clinical Lecturer at Trinity College Dublin, and founder of Filo Institute.
I help dental students and early-career dentists transition from a student mindset to independent clinicians.
My work focuses on three key areas:
-
Supporting dentists relocating to Ireland and adapting to a new clinical and cultural environment
-
Building confidence in decision-making, communication, and professional identity
-
Providing practical, online guidance in restorative dentistry for real-world practice
Since 2022, this has been more than just my work; it’s been my focus and passion. Having worked with 100+ dental professionals, I understand how overwhelming the early stages of a dental career can feel, especially when navigating new systems, expectations, and responsibilities.
